50 Icons & Bookmarking on Android

50 Icons were added to the update this week as well as a cool new bookmark feature. Some of the new icons are below and here’s a video and image guide on how bookmarking icons works:

Bookmarking and manually applying icons

Here’s an example with a missing icon. We can manually apply a new icon from a bookmarked or “Saved” icon.

Browse the “Icons” tab. I’m searching for a new file icon in this example.

When you tap on a single icon, you now have this star icon in the top right. Tapping this will add the icon to your “Saved” section.

Now we can go back to the home screen and long-press the icon we want to manually edit or change.

Tap the icon in the “Edit Icon” popup. I’m using Nova Launcher for this example. Most other launchers have similar settings.

In the top right, there’s an arrow button. Tap this to use the icon pack’s icon picker instead of the launcher’s icon picker.

Choose your icon from the “saved” section.

You’ll notice the icon has been updated in the “Edit Icon” popup. Tap “Done” to close the prompt.
